John’s passion for building began at a very young age. What started with Lego soon grew into working with wood, and by the age of seven he was already building chairs and side tables from reclaimed pallets.
In Grade 6, he built an Adirondack chair for a school project, and by the age of ten he had designed and constructed his own custom bed frame, followed shortly by a matching desk. From that point on, woodworking became more than just a hobby — the garage quickly became his second home.
At thirteen, John was introduced to woodturning and began crafting custom pens and rolling pins. He soon expanded into cutting boards and serving trays, which led him to attend his first local market in Greater Napanee. That first market marked the true beginning of his journey as a custom woodworker.
Now, more than six years later, John regularly attends local markets and continues to grow his business while refining his craft. Today, he creates a wide range of custom pieces — from functional home furnishings to unique, one-of-a-kind designs — all built with a focus on quality, craftsmanship, and attention to detail.
